Let them grow up with respect for and understanding of the meaning of labor, of working and contributing to the home and its surroundings, with some way of earning some of their own expense money. Let your sons save for missions, and encourage them to prepare themselves, not only financially, but spiritually and in an attitude to go out to serve the Lord without selfishness of any kind.

The trouble with most of our prayers is that we give them as if we were picking up the phone and ordering groceries - we place our order and hang up.

If we could follow the slogan that says,"Turn off the TV and open a good book" we would do something of substance for a future generation.
