Mumbai is the sweet, sweaty smell of hope, which is the opposite of hate; and it's the sour, stifled smell of greed, which is the opposite of love. It's the smell of Gods, demons, empires, and civilizations in resurrection and decay. Its the blue skin-smell of the sea, no matter where you are in the island city, and the blood metal smell of machines. It smells of the stir and sleep and the waste of sixty million animals, more than half of them humans and rats. It smells of heartbreak, and the struggle to live, and of the crucial failures and love that produces courage. It smells of ten thousand restaurants, five thousand temples, shrines, churches and mosques, and of hunderd bazaar devoted exclusively to perfume, spices, incense, and freshly cut flowers. That smell, above all things - is that what welcomes me and tells me that I have come home. Then there were people. Assamese, Jats, and Punjabis; people from Rajasthan, Bengal, and Tamil Nadu; from Pushkar, Cochin, and Konark; warrior caste, Brahmin, and untouchable; Hindi, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Parsee, Animist; fair skin and dark, green eyes and golden brown and black; every different face and form of that extravagant variety, that incoparable beauty, India.
Gregory David Roberts
Every person has their own colour.
Haruki Murakami
We are all different in every individual person. But from here I ask myself what do they see when I see a car which is red, what colour do they see, do they see also red and is the same colour which I know red for them?
Deyth Banger
A sunset will color your dreams. And a sunrise will color your smile. It's all God asks.
Anthony T.Hincks
If there’s one shade a woman of colour can’t wear it’s got to be the one everyone expects, hasn’t it?
Sara Sheridan
If ever you want a rainbow in your home, go to Sandwich Glass Museum, and let them put one in your heart too.
Anthony T.Hincks
When things are like hunky dory, every enemy comes in the name of friend, but when things are twisted like turmoil, every friendly enemy shows you their colour.
Michael Bassey Johnson
Let me, O let me bathe my soul in colours; let me swallow the sunset and drink the rainbow.
Kahlil Gibran
When you close your eyes and you feel the color, that is when you know that love has entered your heart.
Anthony T.Hincks
They may not change your skins colour; they may not change your body odour; but once they can change your daily thoughts, they can influence your habits! Beware of evil companions!
Israelmore Ayivor
...there was something in the texture of the weave that felt happy: theecho of a memory so far down in his soul it was all emotion, aburst of colour and warmth, adrift from time and place.
Alexia Casale
Black Is The Most Beautiful colour because it does not reflect it absorbs all into itself.
Amit Abraham
The thing about 'colour' is that it's not all about the money or the prestige, but it's about showing what life is all about. Without it...
Anthony T.Hincks
Chromatacia…society…ruled by a colortocracy…social hierarchy based upon one's limited color perception, society is dominated by color. In this world, you are what you can see.
Jasper Fforde
It's when I'm feeling blue that I think of my little color pink.
Anthony T.Hincks
When we think of love,we always think of red,but when I think of love,I think of you instead.
Anthony T.Hincks
It was if, in the process of its long and arduous journey from Afghanistan's mines to Europe's canvases, and its painful evolution from barren beginnings, ultramarine had collected and purified all the wisdom of the different worlds it traversed, retaining only what was common to then, and what was most important. This pure, clean color evokes undulating infinity, that delicate moment between day and night, an image of man constantly drifting between existence and non-existence.
Mileta Prodanović

Anthony T.Hincks
